The Broadway Park North Metropolitan Districts Nos. 1-3 are Title 32 Special Districts that have been established for the purpose of financing and installing street, park and recreation, water, sanitation, transportation, mosquito control, safety protection, and fire protection, improvements of the Districts; and all other improvements or services permitted by Article 1, Title 32, C.R.S. (collectively, the “Public Improvements and Services”), except as specifically limited by the Service Plan for the District approved by the City and County of Denver on August 30, 2010 as it may be amended from time to time (the “Service Plan”).

The Public Improvements and Services are for the use and benefit of the residents and taxpayers of the Districts. The Districts are located in the City and County of Denver, Colorado. The Districts are quasi-municipal political subdivisions of the State of Colorado authorized to provide specialized services that the City and County of Denver does not provide.

The Districts, in aggregate, may incur a maximum debt of $300,000,000. The Districts may impose a mill levy on taxable property within their boundaries, and may use various other revenue sources authorized by law, including fees, to repay such debt.

The Districts may assess a maximum mill levy of 50 mills for all purposes, including to repay debt, as adjusted to account for legislative or constitutionally imposed adjustments in assessed values or the method of their calculation occurring after January 1, 2018.

The District must file an Annual Report to the City and County of Denver Clerk and Recorder, the Division of Local Government and the State Auditor.

The Districts’ boundaries overlap with the boundaries of the City and County of Denver, Denver School District No. 1 and the Urban Drainage Flood Control District.

About The Broadway Park South Metropolitan District No. 1 

The Broadway Park South Metropolitan District No. 1 (formerly known as Alameda Station Metropolitan District) is a Title 32 Special District that has been established for the purpose of financing and installing street and limited sanitation improvements of the District; and all other improvements or services permitted by Article 1, Title 32, C.R.S. (collectively, the “Public Improvements and Services”), except as specifically limited by the Amended and Restated Service Plan for the District approved by the City and County of Denver on January 8, 2018, as it may be amended from time to time (the “Service Plan”).

The Public Improvements and Services are for the use and benefit of the residents and taxpayers of the District. The District is located in the City and County of Denver, Colorado. The District is a quasi-municipal political subdivision of the State of Colorado authorized to provide specialized services that the City and County of Denver does not provide.
